James Schlesinger, DDS ‘79, MD ‘86, is an emergency medicine physician. But when he makes medical mission trips to Haiti, he practices dentistry because the needs are greater. He recently made a generous gift to BOCA (Buffalo Outreach and Community Assistance), which helps send dental students on trips to underserved areas. He says that when he takes colleagues on such trips, they always go back. So supporting BOCA is an investment in future fellow travelers. Schlesinger lives in Fredricksburg, Virginia.
