After her last child went off to school, Anne Tirone, MA ’94, returned to college, eventually becoming a graduate student in UB’s history department, where she found her most satisfying learning experience.  She also developed a compassion for her financially strapped fellow students and later vowed to make a difference by establishing the Charles S. Tirone, MD '63 and Anne Reilly Tirone, MA '94 Endowed Scholarship Fund.
