The Alumni Association

by Phyllis Kelly

Phyllis Kelly received her B.A. in history and government in 1942 at UB and was president of the Alumni Association from 1953-54.

I am a past president of the Alumni Association, and I'm on the current Board of Directors of the Association. I'm also on a special committee that sets up programs for senior citizens. We have seven large luncheons a year and different motor trips to various places. I've also worked on various projects with the University, like Homecoming, Open House, and Community Advisory Council events.

The Alumni Association lets people keep in contact with old friends and make a lot of new friends. We have a variety of programs on a lot of interesting subjects in order to update the alumni on what is currently happening at the University, and to make people more knowledgeable about what is going on in their community and the world.
