Buy A Brick

For more than 150 years, distinguished individuals have left their mark at the University at Buffalo. Now you can, too.

Buy a brick and complete the centerpiece of the Buffalo Plaza on UB’s North (Amherst) Campus. Standing proud in the circle in front of the Center for the Arts, Slee Hall and Alumni Arena, is a bronze buffalo, a replica of the famous sculpted bison that watched passengers in Buffalo’s Central Terminal during the heyday of rail travel.

Surrounded by brick walkways, this buffalo – beloved by students who pose there for graduation pictures – symbolizes the university spirit and is one of the first sights to greet returning alumni and friends. Put your enduring mark in the circle by buying a brick and having your loved one's name engraved on it.

A single brick is $200. For your message, you can put up to 17 characters per line, two lines to a brick.  See a photo.
