Why should you support UB?

Your son or daughter is the best reason to support UB! State assistance provides only 30 percent of UB’s $1 billion budget. A critical part of the remainder comes through contributions from alumni and friends of the university—including parents, who understand that private support provides the next level of excellence that makes a UB education a valuable investment for your son and daughter.

Parents have created scholarships in their children’s names so future generations of UB students can benefit from educational excellence. Parents have made crucial contributions to UB programs ranging from medical research to musical performance. The opportunities for support are virtually limitless because UB hopes to continue offering unlimited opportunities for success to UB students, now and in the future.

You may also support UB through UB Believers, a dedicated group of Western New Yorkers from all walks of life.  As part of this broad-based advocacy group, they share a belief that a strong UB will lead to a brighter future for all of Buffalo Niagara.
