Why should you support UB?

UB rocks your world.  It puts pharmacists in the drug stores, judges on the bench and executives in the corner offices.  It provides teachers for the classroom, scientists to develop new drugs and therapists to work out the kinks. It puts musicians on stage, geologists in the field and astronauts in space. 

State support provides only 30 percent of the UB's $1 billion budget. A crucial part of the remainder comes through donations from loyal alumni and friends. These funds provide support for facilities, equipment, student aid, the recruitment and retention of outstanding professors, and centers and programs that would not be possible without you.

You may also support UB through UB Believers, a dedicated group of Western New Yorkers from all walks of life.  As part of this broad-based advocacy group, they share a belief that a strong UB will lead to a brighter future for all of Buffalo Niagara.
