The Edmund Hayes Society

This honorary society, established on April 1, 1991, recognizes all bequest intentions and deferred gifts to any UB program. Membership in the General Edmund Hayes Society is granted for life. Documentation of your generosity may include a letter from your attorney affirming the commitment or a copy of the relevant portion of the legal document in which the gift is described.

Member recognition includes:

  • A special welcome letter from the director of the Hayes Society
  • A limited edition print of the Hayes Hall Clock Tower made exclusively for the Hayes Society by Roycroft Renaissance Artist Tom Bojanowski
  • Your name listed in university recognition publications
  • Invitations to special university events, including the Distinguished Speaker Series, presidential receptions and other programs
  • University publications including “UB Giving” and “UB Today”
  • Regular review of your philanthropic giving plans
