UB TAG Day

UB TAG Day

TAG, you’re it!

TAG Day

UB faculty and staff donors are encouraged to post this image to their Facebook page or use it as their profile image on UBTAG Day, Feb. 27.

UB will host its first TAG Day—Thank and Give Day—from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 27.

Designed to educate students about philanthropy, TAG Day is part of National Student Engagement and Philanthropy Day, sponsored by the Council for Advancement and Support of Education.

At 11 stations on the North and South campuses (see locations at right), students are invited to sign thank-you cards and banners to donors; take photos of themselves for posting on UB social media; and send video messages.

Each student gets a bracelet with the hashtag on it: #UBTAGDAY as a reminder to “TAG: Think About Giving.”

Students who take the top three photos will each win $100 in campus cash.

UBTAG Day bracelets will be given out to students who stop at any of the North or South campus stations.
